Found a picture of a group of guys (my Uncle included) with "Company 6, U.S. Naval Training Center, Bainbridge, MD, Dec. 11, 1942" on it. Am I guessing right that this was a school that my Uncle attended?

I was in Company 123, recruit training in May 1954. I played in the Drum and Bugle Corps and played with the corps in Navy Parades during that time. After graduation I was stationed on board the USS Badoeng Strait, CVE 116, and after decomissioning her in 1956 was stationed on USS Lexington CVA 16. Was discharged in California in late 1957.

Addition to my previous message, 2 June 2018. I was in Company 170, 44th Battalion, 4th Regiment. Was in the Drum and Bugle Corp, and the Chapel Choir. Attended EM "A " School at Great Lakes. Served in the USS Willis A. Lee DL-4 until Sept 1960. EM2. Joined DC Fire Department September 1962. Retired 6th Battalion Fire Chief Feb. 1990. I would like to hear from any Company 170 members. Also would like to obtain The Compass for that Companies Graduation.
