Took boots from 6/1945 to 8/45. I just turn 18 years old on Aug.14,1945. and that when the Japanese sunrendered called VJ day.It took to find out how lucky I was to be here. A couple month ago I got and e-mail on the subject " an invasion not found in the History books by James Martin Davisreprinted from the Omaha World Herald,November 1987.It's the whole outline on the invasion of Japan on Nov.1,1945 and the second invasion on March1,1946. It's worth while reading what the Japanese had instore for us. I have the full outline. EGK.

Joined in January 1955 and completed basic training at USNTC. On to electrican mates school and then to Submarine Squadron six in Norfolk Va. Spend weekends doing restoration work on the USS TORSK in Baltimore inner Harbor as part of the TORSK Volunteer Assocation.
