My father was stationed at Bainbridge during WWII and I was also born in 1944 and I am looking for any information about him. His name was Lee Earl Campbell and he passed away in 1981. I was told that he was a cook and never saw action. Any information you may have or can point me to will be greatly appreciated

There is a great book with many pictures and history of USNTC Bainbridge contained in 128 pages. It is a publication of "Images of America" series and titled "United States Naval Training Center, Bainbridge". It can be ordered over Amazon or through any bookstore. This book is a must for all who have fond memories of USNTC Bainbridge.

I was at Bainbridge in 72-73. Both RM A and Code school pics posted on the Facebook RM site. Have great memories of the Fiddlers Green, the Barracks, Port Deposit, Havre de Grace, The New Cecil Diner and on and on. Would love to hear from RM1 Karen Stevenson and Laurie Jelten. They were great friends back then. Living in Florida with my wife of 37 years.
