My dad Mario Pillarella went to Bainbridge USNTC in 1952-1953. He was assigned to Company 56(R). I am trying to locate other members Who May have a copy of the company photo and or a copy of the Compass Cruise Book. My dad went through Bootcamp with his cousin Louis Pillarella same company.

25 August 2021 - My dad died in 1995 Staten Island, NY.

Started trainng late August to Just before Thanksgiving 1956 Co. 88, 2nd regiment, 21st Bat., Barracks 212 upper. Then to the USS Tarawa (CVS 40) Then to the USS Lake Champlain (CVS 39) Discharged 23 June 1960 a month early because of the ship was going to Nova Scotia. I did not complain.
